As I was doing my daily spiritual work this morning, a new appreciation for the words we speak came to me. I realized the power of our words, their impact on the people and the world around us. Words literally have the power to heal or to harm. They can lift and inspire, or they can oppress. The words themselves have an innate ability to change the vibrations in the air. Positive words such as Love, Life, Gratitude, and Hope create a vibrational sequence that is positively stimulating for our spirits. Giving compliments blesses both the giver and the receiver. Negative words create a vibrational sequence that is damaging to our cells and harmful to our spirits. This power is literal. We may not realize when we speak the words that we are releasing a kind of permanent effect on our environment. But as surely as the words escape our lips, we are changing the vibrations in the air, thereby affecting a shift in our energy field. Sometimes, we can even feel it.
When I speak words of love, respect, and kindness, I am filled with a feeling of “fullness” and my heart expands. My mind is clear and my thoughts, enlightened. This effect is not random. So let me send words to you that will fill your heart with fullness:
I appreciate you and your divine spirit, your love and your goodness. Thank you for being my companion on this beautiful journey. It’s much more fun to go it together!
